Evaluation of the limiting characteristics of one‐bit reflection‐type phase shifters based on the S‐N transition in high‐T c superconducting (HTSC) films is done, taking into account real parameters of the HTSC films. The results can be used for the design and optimization of digital phase shifters. © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
