The radiation impedance of a microstrip having ferrite film and its dependence on the width of the microstrip and the height of the ferrite film are calculated by the full‐wave moment analysis. Full‐wave calculations closely predict the measured radiation resistance, while the magnetostatic approximation deviates in the higher‐frequency region. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
