This communication describes a solution to the problem of computing mutual impedance of a one‐dimensional array of circular micro‐strip patches fed by coaxial probes. Some experiments have been conducted for mutual coupling between two circular microstrip antennas in the S band. Theoretical results are in good agreement with the experimental ones. © 1993 John Wiley & sons, Inc.
