A study of all possible polarimetric behavior modelization is presented. The aim of this work is also to present a model for a complex target seen as an assembly of saddle points, when the target's dimensions are greater than few wavelengths. From these assumptions the use of asymptotic techniques leads to a list of saddle points which are capable of precise description of complex targets. © 1993 John Wiley & sons, Inc.
