A formulation of the dyadic Green's function for a two‐layered chirostrip is presented using the method of scattering superposition, and an expression of the radiated field of a horizontal dipole antenna printed on a grounded chiral slab is derived. The effects of a chiral superstrate on the radiation pattern are analyzed. © 1993 John Wiley & sons, Inc.
