Analytical expressions for the efficient computation of sensitivities with respect to fundamental periods in dynamic nonlinear characteristics under multitone excitation are presented. Almost‐periodic oscillations in the forced Van der Pol oscillator are computed to illustrate the capability and efficiency of the resulting harmonic balance technique.
