In terms of an asymptotic high‐frequency estimation of monostatic far‐field radar cross section (RCS) of the rectangular flat plate coated with lossy material, which is derived here from a UTD formula of the impedance wedge, the scaled‐down RCS is studied in this article, while the lossy material used in a scaled‐down model cannot satisfy the physical equivalence conditions.
