This article describes the design, construction, and performance of a six‐port reflectometer which operates at 925 MHz and is designed for on‐line cellular radio RF component measurement. The effects that reflectometer subcircuit performance have on overall six‐port operation are discussed in terms of the six‐port constants. Due to the conservative bandwidths required by the application, narrow‐band quasilumped hybrid and power splitter circuits are employed throughout. The final design is suitable for ultimate implemenation in MMIC form.
