This article presents a novel circuit configuration which combines a high‐voltage dc bias network with a distributed‐amplifier topology. This type of circuit offers multioctave bandwidth and improved efficiency in systems by reducing dc power consumption where the primary dc power is at voltage levels higher than required operating voltage for the active devices.
