In this article, by using the surface reflection coefficients to describe the boundary conditions, a simple uniform geometrical theory of diffraction (UTD) formula for an impedance wedge is given by a rigorous analysis under the assumption that both faces of the wedge are illuminated by a H‐ polarization plane wave .
