Computed results on the characteristic impedance of double‐sided slot‐lines on low‐permittivity substrates are presented. Curves for ϵ r = 2.22, 3.0, and 3.8 are included. A spectral Galerkin method is employed to calculate the slotline wave number and the slot electric field. The characteristic impedance is then calculated in the spectral domain from the slot field.
