A photonic digital‐to‐analog converter with a parallel structure based on spectral encoding using a mode‐locked laser is proposed in this article. The key of the method lies in the spectral segmentation, weighting and parallel modulation. The proposed scheme can effectively realize the conversion while ensures a stable coherent superposition. A proof‐of‐concept experiment is successfully demonstrated. Further simulation results are presented to show the potentials of the proposed approach.
