The method for detecting magnetic fields based on magnetic fluid (MF) and fiber bundle was successfully demonstrated. The sensor works by measuring changes in the refractive index of MF due to changes in magnetic fields. Using MF with a concentration of 2.5%, the proposed sensor successfully detected a magnetic field in the range of 25.3 to 83.5 mT with a resolution of 3.3 mT.
