A new subspace method applied to through‐the‐wall radar for clutter mitigation is presented. The pseudo‐random code continuous wave radar is used and the wall subspace selection algorithm is introduced. The performance of this method is demonstrated and compared with the singular value decomposition‐based clutter mitigation methods. Results confirm that the new subspace method suppresses the wall clutter more thoroughly under the same conditions.
