A novel method of radiating circularly polarized (CP) impulse through a dispersive spiral antenna is presented. The proposed method utilizes time‐reversal‐based pulse compression to radiate a CP impulse without any modification to the existing antenna design, providing flexibility where the antenna can be used as a normal dispersive spiral antenna when TR is not applied. Using an Archimedean spiral antenna, the proposed method is validated with numerical simulation and measurement.
