A modified Wilkinson power divider with arbitrary power dividing ratio is presented in this letter. It consists of four transmission line sections with the same characteristic impedance and an isolation resistor. The proposed circuit is analyzed based on transmission line theory and design equations are derived. For verification, a 2 GHz prototype with power dividing ratio of 2 is designed, fabricated and measured. The measured results are in good agreements with the simulated ones.
