A hybrid‐fed circularly polarized magneto‐electric (ME) dipole antenna is presented for 5G Wi‐Fi application. A single series feeding cross‐aperture coupled structure is used to stimulate the ME dipole antenna. Measurement shows that the ME dipole antenna has an overlapped bandwidth of 23.5% from 4.98 to 6.31 GHz for the standards of both |S 11 | < −10 dB and axial ratio < 3 dB. A measured gain of approximately 7.5 dBi is obtained and the fluctuation of the realized gain is <1 dB from the whole operating frequency band. Moreover, because of the advantages of ME dipole, the proposed design realized a stable radiation patterns and roughly coincide radiation patterns at x‐o‐z and y‐o‐z plane in the operating frequency band.
