In this manuscript microstrip patch antenna loaded with multilayer liquid metamaterial radome (superstrate) structures for gain enhancement is presented. The antenna superstrate is loaded with three ring split ring resonator (SRR) metamaterial. Two multilayer radome structures used for enhancement of gain and protection of conventional microstrip patch antenna. First multilayer structure is made with six equal layers of three ring SRR and second multilayer structure is made with four log periodic layers of three ring SRR. The microstrip patch antenna loaded with multilayer SRR radome structure is compared with conventional microstrip patch antenna. The results of proposed design are compared in form of reflection coefficient, gain and bandwidth. The enhancement in gain is achieved by covering antenna with different radome structures.
