In this letter, we propose a triband slot antenna with additional slots directly connected to an original slot radiator. The proposed antenna has been halved to reduce the antenna size. The experimental results show that this antenna can operate in three bands of 2.38–2.58 GHz, 3.34–3.85 GHz, and 5.07–5.60 GHz, respectively. Meanwhile, the parameter analysis has indicated that each band works according to the cavity‐coupled mode, which can enlarge the bandwidth and enhance the stability of radiating patterns in the corresponding bands.
