A wideband dual‐polarized antenna loaded resonator is proposed in this article. A new resonant mode is induced while loaded with L‐shaped resonator beside the dipole. This mode can be moved by adjusting the size and position of the resonator. And the main resonant mode is decided by the size of the dipole. In this way, a wide bandwidth of 33.7% from 0.67 to 0.97 GHz for | S 11 |<−15 dB is achieved with two resonant modes in the desired band. Moreover, stable radiation pattern gain, and low cross polarization are obtained over the entire operating band.
