In this work, a parametric study of the complementary rose‐curve inclusion in size reduction applications is presented. Through numerical analysis and experimental data, we show the feasibility of controlling the electrical length and thus the physical length of the loaded transmission line by controlling the distributed capacitance of the rose‐curve resonators through their order. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
