A multiple‐mode‐based four‐way filtering‐response power divider with wide stopband and high fabrication tolerance is presented. The bandpass‐filtering response is implemented by using the cross shaped resonators. The direct coupling can make the divider have high fabrication tolerance. The equivalent even‐ and odd‐mode circuits of the power divider are analyzed and the design equations are derived. Finally, a 4‐way power divider is designed and fabricated.
