Full finite differences time domain (FDTD) method is implemented using a WiFi Access Point into common office environment at 2.45 GHz. The model allows observing the electromagnetic phenomena when the wave impignes over typical objects. FDTD results has been obtained demonstrate good concordance with measurements at different heights. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 58:2880–2884, 2016
