A second‐order active bandpass filter using Q‐enhanced inductors is designed in 0.25‐μm BiCMOS Qubic4x technology. The filter uses a special technique based on coupled‐inductor negative resistance generator to make the quality factor and the center frequency tunable. The obtained center frequency is 955 MHz with a 57‐MHz (3 dB) bandwidth. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 58:2396–2402, 2016
