In this article, a miniaturized and ultrathin absorptive/transmissive radome with wideband absorbing property was designed. The thickness of the designed radome was 5 mm and its effectiveness was verified by both synthetic experiments and measurement in the anechoic chamber. Furthermore, the oblique incidents were also evaluated for both the transmission coefficients and reflection coefficients. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
