We report on the first experimental demonstration of carrierless amplitude/phase modulation in a flexible multiband approach for ultrawideband high‐data‐rate wireless communications. An effective bitrate of 2 GB/s is achieved while complying with the restrictions on the effective radiated power established by the Russian State Commission for Radio Frequencies. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
