ABSTRACT A multiband frequency selective surface (FSS) with wideband and sharp falling down characteristics is proposed. Measured results agree well with simulated ones and indicate that the proposed FSS performs well for any polarization. A study on how the parameters affect performances is proceeded and a guideline of how to regulate the related parameters to achieve desired resonant frequencies is introduced. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
