A compact ultrawideband bandpass filter (UWB BPF) with good selectivity has been proposed. The proposed UWB BPF is constructed by two shorted coupled lines, two open coupled lines, and a transversal transmission line. One prototype is fabricated for verification. The measured results show that the insertion loss is about 0.85 dB at center frequency and return loss is better than 13.5 dB in the range of 3.14–10.22 GHz, which are in good agreements with the simulated ones. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
