The first 300‐GHz linearly tapered slot antenna with the average gain of 13 dBi has been designed, fabricated, and tested. To reduce the cost of testing, this article also proposes to pair relatively low‐cost 300–320 GHz communication system with 10 MHz–30 GHz vector network analyzer and use the signal processing techniques. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
