The electromagnetic analysis of the proposed graphene based tunable waveguide resonators for submillimeter‐wave applications is presented. Simple design based on the conventional E‐plane resonator is considered. The desired tunability up to 5% is provided by the change of the effective resonator length. Simulation results are presented to validate the argument. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 56:2385–2388, 2014
