Reducing glitches when reconstructing four‐port S‐parameters of differential transmission lines from two‐port measurements

The origin of the glitches observed in four‐port S‐parameters reconstructed from two‐port measured data is identified, allowing their direct minimization without any data post‐processing. Excellent correlation for the obtained four‐port and mixed‐mode S‐parameters is achieved when confronted with those directly measured using a four‐port network analyzer. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
