A new metamaterial structure was proposed. The model is an extension of the case circular SRR of Pendry. In the analysis of the structure were obtained characteristics of negative permeability different from the original model. A fractal modular composition with split triangles resonator was produced and simulations and prototypes of microstrip antennas were performed. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
