Two empirical equations to predict the resonant frequency of the coplanar‐waveguide‐fed modified T‐shaped antenna are proposed. The equations predict resonant frequencies with a maximum error of 3.42%. The least square method has been used to form the equations based on measured data. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
