This article presents a novel multiband matching network (MN) consisting of resonators and conventional L‐type MNs. The simple and independent matching procedure for each operating frequency band is presented. One concurrent dual‐band and tri‐band power amplifiers with low cost and compact size are designed to demonstrate this multiband method. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
