A regulated linear dual‐tuning differential ring oscillator has been designed and fabricated in UMC 0.13 μm CMOS process for ultra‐wideband applications. Measurement results demonstrated the large tuning range, high tuning linearity, fast band switching, low supply sensitivity, and acceptable phase noise. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
