ABSTRACT We present a novel bandstop microstrip filter with coupling capacitors. The microstrip is arranged in a meander‐like pattern, with particular segments coupled by capacitors. This layout provides good results and reduced filter's size, with readily tunable transmittance that can be modified for notch‐like operation or wide stop band. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
