Integrated frequency‐modulation continuous‐wave radars are attractive to a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. The design considerations unique to such an integrated radar front end are studied in this work. Theoretical models as well as experiment results are presented, which verify the effectiveness of the proposed design approach. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
