A fluid and its housing are integrated on a coplanar waveguide circuit surface, realizing a variable delay line. Performance tradeoffs for different fluidic housing shapes are investigated. Simulation and measurement results for two circuits are shown with the housing filled with air or de‐ionized water. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
