In this article, a one‐off seal function radio frequency identification (RFID) tag antenna with an omnidirectional radiation pattern when mounted on a liquid bottle is presented. The RFID tag antenna was pasted into the plastic open cap surface or inserted the clamping inner ring for further enhanced the quality of the liquid bottle seal function. Also, to using the RFID tag antenna for the different bottle neck radius, the radiation pattern and rectangular feeding loop was tilted to horizontal reference plane. The measured results show that these RFID tag antennas have good performance when attached onto the liquid bottle surfaces. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
