The analysis of propagation in multilayered coplanar coupled striplines by means of Galerkin's method in the spectral domain with expansion functions factorizing the edge behavior of the surface current density on each strip leads to the evaluation of slowly converging integrals. In this work a new analytical technique to express the mutual coupling integrals as rapidly converging series is presented. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
