An antipodal linearly tapered slot antenna fed by substrate integrated waveguide for Ku band application is presented. To reduce the mutual coupling between elements, several slots are cut both on the radiation arms and between radiation elements to chock the coupling currents. With this approach, the measured mutual coupling levels between antenna elements are reduced to lower than −27 dB within 13–17 GHz. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
