We tested the THz intensity, current, and temperature of two kinds of antennas. In the experiment, THz intensity of an antenna went down with time. The instability is caused by the local temperature at the electrode gap. This origins from the decline of the steady state mobility. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
