This article presents a time‐domain approach of the single‐antenna method for ultra‐wide band (UWB) antennas. The proposed differential technique separates forward, reverse, and received signals at the antenna input. A post‐processing technique was also derived, to extract far‐field response from measured data. Experimental and computed results are included. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
