This study presents a beam‐steerable traveling wave meanderline array at X‐band.Beam steering is achieved by the varactor diodes mounted on the meanderline that provide progressive phase shift between array elements. It is demonstrated that the radiation direction of the eight‐section meanderline array containing eight varactors can be rotated 10° by changing the varactor diode's bias voltage. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
