Split ring resonators (SRR) and complementary SRRs (CSRR) are used to design bandstop and bandpass filters in waveguides. These filters are more compact than existing waveguide filters and have no appreciable weight of their own. They have been fabricated and tested showing good agreement between simulations and experiments. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
