A 17 × 17 polymer arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) multiplexer with flat spectral response have been designed and fabricated by using FPE polymer materials. The measured results are as: the center wavelength is 1550.83 nm, wavelength channel spacing is 0.8 nm, 3‐dB bandwidth is about 0.476 nm, insertion loss is 13∼15 dB, and crosstalk is about −21 dB. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
