A novel mobius‐band monopole antenna which is based on the concept of topology is designed to realize ultra‐wideband.Its UWB‐related characteristics are simulated and experimentally verified. The results show that the proposed antenna has good radiation performances, which illuminates that topology is a good candidate for antenna design. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
