Several dual‐band three‐dimensional magnetic EZ antenna designs and their simulated performance characteristics are presented. The proposed antennas are formed by integrating multiple capacitively loaded loop elements with a coaxially fed electrically small semicircular loop antenna. They can be designed for a broad range of frequencies by tuning the near field resonant parasitic elements separately. The design details, radiation efficiencies, and fractional bandwidths of these antenna systems for their different dual‐band frequency ranges are reported. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
