This letter presents the accurate design of a compact ultra‐wideband bandpass filter with a bandwidth from 400 to 900 MHz. The measured results demonstrate an insertion loss of <0.98 dB and a return loss of 14.9 dB. Furthermore, the theoretical, simulated, and experimental performances are well matched. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
