A multiband slot antenna with two parasitic radiators for GSM900/DCS1900/WiMAX/WLAN wireless communication services is introduced. The proposed antenna is small in size (40 mm × 40 mm × 1.6 mm) and has a simple structure. The bandwidth and resonant frequencies of the antenna are controlled by the electromagnetic coupling among radiators. Details of the antenna design are described and the effects of design parameters on antenna performance are investigated. The experimental results of the constructed prototype are presented and discussed. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
